Missed a code or a link in a notification that already cleared? You may still be able to get it back.
Built-in history (Android 11+)
- Open Settings → Notifications → Notification history.
- Make sure the toggle is on (enable it now so it works going forward).
- Tap an entry to see the app, time, and the text it contained.
On some phones the path is Settings → Apps & notifications → Notifications → Notification history.
Its limits
- It only stores roughly the last 24 hours.
- Sensitive content (like OTPs) may be hidden until you tap in.
- You cannot easily search or export it — fine for one lookup, weak for "find that thing from yesterday."
